Physicians within Suncoast’s infectious disease department are experts in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with HIV and other communicable and non-communicable diseases resulting from all types of infections, including those caused by bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites. Our board certified physicians provide comprehensive care for a wide range of conditions, such as:

International Travel Assistance
Our infectious disease team provides pre-travel evaluation and preventive recommendations for people traveling to tropical locales or other areas with endemic infectious diseases. The physicians work with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to remain up-to-date on current recommendations.
